Indiana was admitted to the Union on December 11, 1816; 195 years ago today. By way of comparison, Dick Lugar has been the State’s senator for only about 17% of that time. 17%, of course, is the amount by which the sales tax was raised in 2008. From the 2008 gubernatorial campaign and the fledgling non-campaign Presidential campaign, we learned that taxes were not raised under Daniels watch. By extension, we know that Sen. Lugar hasn’t really been Senator at all. My point? You got me. I don’t have one. Happy birthday, Indiana!
Dick Lugar has been a Hoosier for 41% of Indiana’s existence…
Wilson, actually that’s open to debate.
perhaps from the same debating team that questions whether the current President of the United States is a natural-born citizen…
Doug, do you have anything left in that bottle? I can be over there pretty quickly.
If only drinking explained my oddity.
You bailed out way too early. You were on a great numerology rant. I almost felt that I was reading Louis Farakhan, which is high praise indeed (in terms of numerology.)
I just don’t have the chops for inspired numerology ranting. Two or three connections max.
