Strange Maps brings us a map charting single people by gender. California looks like a sausage-fest (so does Lafayette, to a lesser extent). The Boston – D.C. corridor looks like a good place to find single women as does Indianapolis and Chicago.

Lafayette, you say?
Don’t get your hopes up Wilson. That’s because we have a large public institution more filled with men than women.. and not a prison. Purdue runs like 65% male — engineering, Ag, business and sciences. That has to skew these results.
