No Tolls for I-69

by Doug on January 17, 2007

Motorists of northern Indiana have to be wondering what they did to get so lucky. They will have ever-increasing tolls for the next 75 years. According to this editorial in the Evansville Courier Press, Jamie Jorczak, director of public-private partnerships for the Indiana Department of Transportation has stated that Gov. Daniels is firmly against making the planned I-69 from Indy to Evansville a toll road.

Doug– will you post something on Bardon’s Civil Rights bill and Porter’s bill on Hate Crimes?

Probably. My approach isn’t very scientific. At the moment, the volume of legislation is so great, it’s kind of like trying to drink out of a fire hose.

I think bilerico & Advance Indiana have some posts on those particular bills.
